Brian Trusky

Vice President – Loss Prevention
Brian Trusky brings more than 20 years of construction experience to Moss. He directs Moss’ safety and loss prevention program. Brian ensures that Moss maintains an experience modification rate below the national average. He manages the Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs) and workers compensation claims. He ensures compliance with federal, state and local health and safety regulations through routine project safety inspections/audits and upper management coordination. Brian coordinates environmental permitting issues with local, state and federal agencies (dewatering, stormwater run-off, NPDES, etc.). He also conducts training and education classes in various aspects of construction safety, health, stormwater and environmental permitting.
Brian has 15 years of safety experience. He has previously served as Safety Director for Centex Rooney overseeing safety and loss prevention for more than $600 million worth of projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
Brian graduated with an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations and a BS in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Hazardous Waste, Lead Abatement, and Asbestos Abatement Worker; Authorized 10 and 30 Hour - Construction Outreach Instructor (OSHA 500); Competent Person Trainer in Fall Protection (Construction Safety Council); Competent Person Training in Scaffold Erection, Concrete Reinforcement Training, Welding/Cutting, and Burning Training; Certified in Red Cross First Aid and CPR; and Certified State of Florida Storm Water Management Inspector and Inspector Trainer.
