As construction manager, and while working under a negotiated contract, Moss has worked closely with this grocery chain giant on eight projects in South Florida over the past four years exceeding $64.5 million. This project involved constructing a 54,000 SF replacement of the existing stand-alone store. This project was especially demanding because it involved taking the one of the highest grossing stores in the Miami Division off-line. The owner was extremely sensitive to revenue loss and the demand of the local customers. Publix moved the scheduled completion date up twice, shortening the construction time by over 2 months. Despite all these demands, this project was completed 9 weeks ahead of the original schedule.
