As construction manager, and while working under a negotiated contract, Moss has worked closely with this grocery chain giant on eight projects in South Florida over the past four years exceeding $64.5 million. This 32,000 SF project is located at 3500 SW Davie Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Construction of the this Publix was built on the site of an existing store and consists of concrete strip and pad foundations, reinforced load bearing concrete block and steel frame structure. The exterior is a stucco/EIFS finish with decorative accent tile bands, and medallion stones accompanied with a built-up bitumen roofing system. The City of Fort Lauderdale is the controlling jurisdiction. Equity Development Group is the developer, and Publix Supermarket is the owner in this arrangement.
