As construction manager, and while working under a negotiated contract, Moss has worked closely with this grocery chain giant on eight projects in South Florida over the past four years exceeding $64.5 million. This project is located in Mary Brickell Village in Miami, FL. This is a non-prototype project with approximately 29,000 SF of floor space. This active project consists of two phases. The first phase is remedial work to the structure since Publix is at the ground level of a future high-rise building. The second phase is an interior build out for the actual Publix space. The building consists of steel and masonry construction with two mezzanine levels and multiple elevators. The project presents a challenge since we have to work with the existing conditions of the shell and performed structural remedial work and the substantial completion is projected for fall of 2008.
