The Pompano Beach Replacement Library is based on a new 30,000 SF facility on a 3.22 acre site. There are several existing buildings located on the site that will be demolished by the Owner to accommodate and meet the new library facility. The project is in the preliminary stages of program management where the CM, Design Team, Broward County, and others will participate in extensive reviews for development of the design and the needs of the library. There are several existing utility lines that run through the site that will remain and require heavy coordination during construction. The project will be part of the LEED new construction certification process. This allows credits for use of green building certified materials and recycling.
