This project consisted of a complete renovation of the interior 4.5 acre courtyard that houses most of the Hotel’s amenities along with a renovation of the two-story Lanai Wing outdoor corridors.

The courtyard underwent a complete renovation. The underground drainage was enhanced in order to provide additional storm drainage capabilities to the courtyard. All of the existing landscaping was removed and replaced with all new lush landscaping. The existing walkways and assembly areas were replaced with new shell stone paver walkways, assembly areas and pool decks. A formal promenade was also created with the shell stone paver walkways lined with tall royal palm trees and new fountains placed at key focal points. The existing pools and spa underwent a complete makeover and were brought back to a level of finish that is on par with the new shell stone paver pool deck. The adjacent Pool Bar and Grille underwent the renovation to its outdoor dining and patio space that enhanced access to the building along with enhancing the level of finish. Along the perimeter of the new pool deck, new poolside cabanas were added. The irrigation system was removed and replaced with a new modernized system.

Surrounding the courtyard on three sides is a two-story Lanai Wing that houses poolside and waterfront suites. The corridors for the Lanais Wings are exterior and also underwent a complete renovation in this phase. The planters located along the corridor had all of the existing landscaping removed and replaced with new lighting and landscaping to enhance the renovations that the Hotel is currently doing to these rooms. The corridor flooring was removed and replaced in this phase as well.

The project was scheduled as a fast track project and completed in 5 months.
