This is one of 4 USCIS projects for Moss. Each will be a LEED Silver Certified building with tilt panel construction. These buildings will have similar architecture and will be constructed of pre-cast concrete panels and glass. Energy-saving features include extensive perimeter windows with overhanging sunscreen devices and screening panels to prevent excessive solar gain. Designed to provide a secure environment for employees and visitors while maintaining an inviting image, security has been integrated into the site design. Security setbacks will be maintained with a combination of seat wall, concrete planters and other landscape elements to provide a secure facility yet provide an open and welcoming environment for the public.
Conveniently located at the intersection halfway between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike in Oakland Park, Florida, this location will include 43,500 square feet of office space and on-site parking for 126 employees and 200 visitors. This single story building will include a one-and-a-half story lobby. The on-site parking deck will accommodate visitor parking in close proximity to the entry plaza.
