
When complete in the Fall 2008, Bay County Government will attain a new courthouse annex and expanded jail facility. The one and two story 142,000 square foot jail annex will feature 688 beds, 152 holding cells, a new main entrance, video visitation area, medical rooms, booking and intake areas, food service space and various support services.
The 4,500 square foot courthouse expansion, which was located in downtown Panama City, will include a two story wing, new drive through sally port, intake holding cells, elevator and platform lift.
As construction manager, Moss provided several months of preconstruction planning services on this $36 million project to ensure that all budget, schedule and logistical requirements were addressed prior to commencing work in the field. The assignment represents one of 20 projects that Moss has built for Corrections Corporation of America throughout the United States. |
