At Moss we specialize in the integration of environmentally responsible technologies that define today’s high performance buildings. These sustainable building practices increase the efficient use of resources, including land, water, energy and materials as well as protect occupant health and reduce or eliminate negative environmental impacts.

For the benefit of our clients, we invest heavily in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program training (LEED). With more than 22 LEED accredited professionals on staff, including executives, operations and preconstruction teams, we are able to advise clients on proven industry techniques and take a collaborative approach to ensure that owners, architects, designers and contractors are on the same page to maximize success in sustainable building.

Proven Sustainability Strategy

Moss is committed to assisting our clients achieve their highest sustainability goals. That commitment is demonstrated in the application of a customized “Six-Point Sustainability Strategy” for each project we undertake:

  • Assign LEED Accredited Professional to oversee the sustainability process from day one
  • Contribute to design charettes designated to develop sustainable strategies
  • Make LEED items part of every Team Meeting with owner and architects
  • Use Standardized Checklists to manage the LEED point process
  • Review LEED components at each Drawing Issues to ensure items are not missing
  • Use third party consultants for peer review if required
