RIVERFRONT TOWER IN DOWNTOWN MIAMI
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Moss & Associates, one of Florida’s largest construction management companies, has completed The Ivy residential/mixed-use tower in downtown Miami, a $112 million construction project.
Located on a 13.5-acre site along the Miami River, The Ivy is a 45-story residential tower with 504 luxury condominiums and nine levels of parking, in addition to restaurants and retail shops located at street level. A dramatic two-story lobby, dual high-speed elevator banks, resort style pool, full-service spa, steam room, sauna, and state-of-the-art fitness facility are among the building’s amenities.
Key International Development is the developer for The Ivy and its adjacent tower Mint, a 52-story, 1.3 million-square-foot residential/commercial tower that shares the same riverfront site. Moss expects to complete Mint in mid-2009. As construction manager, Moss addressed the challenges of working on a tight, urban site in a congested area adjacent to the Miami River, Miami Metrorail, downtown businesses and other active construction sites nearby.
