Moss & Associates Receives OSHA “Sharp” Certification

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, October 6, 2006

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has recognized Moss & Associates as a participant in the federal Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP), based on the construction management firm’s exemplary safety and health management system.

Fort Lauderdale-based Moss & Associates is one of 38 companies – including only two construction-oriented employers – in Florida that have been accepted into the program.

The University of South Florida – Safety Florida Consultation Program and OSHA formally recognized the company at a recent ceremony in Fort Lauderdale.

According to Moss & Associates Safety Director Brian Trusky, the company takes a proactive approach to safety with provisions that meet and/or exceed OSHA requirements. “The key to effective safety is communication that flows throughout all levels of an organization,” he said. “We stay vigilant with frequent safety meetings, ongoing training and participation in local and regional voluntary compliance programs.”
