Marion County Growth Management Building

This project involved the renovation of an existing building into new County office space for use by the Growth Management Department for Marion County. This has allowed for the expansion and of the Planning, Zoning, and Building Departments for Marion County, and consolidated these departments under one roof. Scope included the renovation and build out of roughly 53,000 square feet of the building into offices, meeting spaces, and public reception areas. Construction entailed rework of the site parking areas, stripping the existing exterior facades from the building, demolition and build out of the former hardware store spaces, replacement of the existing mechanical system with a new chilled water system, and upgrades to the existing electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
