This phased modernization included a new 2-story entry and lobby wing in addition to medical offices and laboratory space within the renovated 4-story building. The medical facility will feature patient exam rooms, an optical and podiatry center, a CT scanning suite, ultrasound and echo facilities, an urgent care center, labs and diagnostic rooms, a dental area and various nurse stations. The modernization also included replacing all windows to hurricane impact, upgrading HVAC systems, adding fire sprinklers, site improvements and landscaping.
Moss worked closely with the owner and designers to ensure all budget, schedule and logistical requirements were addressed prior to beginning work in the field. Construction of this fast track project took place while portions of the building remained fully operational. The project represents one of two consecutive projects that Moss constructed for this owner.
