Forest Park Elementary School Replacement
Location: Boynton Beach, Florida

Completed on time and within budget, this elementary school replacement accommodates 960 student stations and includes 84,269 SF of new building area and an additional 33,218 SF of renovated space. Two 200 ton chilled water units, housed in a separate building, support three of the four building on campus. Used to educate Pre-K through 5th Grade students, its two story tilt-wall concrete structure features a multitude of classrooms, ESA labs, a cafeteria, music hall, art studio, media center and administrative offices, in addition to a new covered play area.
As construction manager, Moss worked closely with its MWBE CM partner, D. Stephenson Construction, throughout the preconstruction planning phases to ensure all budget, schedule and logistical items were addressed prior to commencing work in field. Extensive coordination and regular communication was key to administering a safe working environment due to the site’s close proximity to neighboring residences and major thoroughfare.
