Red Rock Correctional Facility

Despite the challenge of building in the middle of the Arizona desert, Moss completed this prototype $68 million medium security correctional facility under a fast track schedule in just 13 months. The 285,000 SF campus includes 10 buildings including five housing units totaling 1,666 inmate beds, an administration building, program space building with classrooms, maintenance building, and two buildings that house central control, laundry, kitchen and medical services areas.
As construction manager, Moss worked closely with the owner and designers throughout the preconstruction planning phases to ensure all budget, schedule and logistical requirements were addressed prior to beginning work in the field. The project represented one of 20 projects that Moss executives have built for this owner in various areas of the United States.
