As construction manager, Moss built this 50,000 square foot Family Life and Recreation Center as an addition to an existing congregation hall in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Located on the first floor are numerous classrooms and administrative offices for the church school. The second level features a large banquet hall capable of seating 650 guests, commercial kitchen, and a WiFi “Starbucks type” Cafe. Part of this Project includes a remodeling of the existing 75 year old Fellowship Hall into a high-tech Youth Facility consisting of game rooms and social meeting areas. Additional scope included re-roofing all existing structures, upgrading utilities, and various landscape upgrades. Moss staff worked closely with the owner and architect throughout the preconstruction planning phases to ensure all budgets, schedules and logistical challenges where addressed prior to commencing work in the field. All work was completed on time and in budget while keeping the existing congregation hall operational.
